Crisis Accommodation
We aim to give those in crisis a sustainable, supported pathway out of homelessness.
Thousands of Victorians experience homelessness and need emergency housing, care and support to find a safe, secure place to call home.
Launch Housing provides emergency, shelter, crisis accommodation, housing advice and support to assist people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness in Melbourne.
Referrals to our crisis accommodation services must be accessed through our entry points, in St Kilda, Collingwood, and Cheltenham.
Our crisis accommodation services are located in South Melbourne, Southbank, East St Kilda, and Dandenong.
Access Services
To access our crisis accommodation your first step is to visit a Launch Housing office (access point) at Cheltenham, Collingwood or St Kilda.
Visiting an access point is the first step in securing emergency housing, or crisis accommodation, and support workers will provide eligible clients with an assessment, housing advice and referrals to other supports.
Access points are opened Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
To get housing advice or to speak to a support worker call 1800 825 955 (24/7 toll-free).
If you call this number outside of business hours you’ll be redirected to the Salvos St Kilda crisis accommodation service.
